The community listens to and learns from the Holy Spirit in order to live in trust, humility and love, searching for ways to open up various cultures to the light of Christ. Branches of the community were established in Africa in 1962 and in Korea in 1980, following St. Francis Xavier, the apostle of Asia.

In their various missions, in collaboration with many others, members of the community are at the service of the human and spiritual growth of people. Their apostolic service in teaching, education and evangelization is mainly exercised at Xavier International School, but also at a university and through music therapy.
